So guys that have never played soccer at a high level would just roll out and beat the world's best teams and players who have pretty much played soccer entire lives?
but, they are so big and athletic? i'd like to see a little spaniard stop a charging adrian peterson!

Well the betting has already started at our company apartment. I took 4-1 Brazil. $20 each. One Trinidadian, one Scot, one South African, one Venezuelan, and myself.

He wouldn't have to. AP would have lost the ball 30 yards ago.

you're probably right, but with some good american coaching i think he'd learn in no time. get that KLANSmann guy out of here.
american athletes > rest of world athletes

As an avid soccer fan, I hate that shite.

If AP and Lebron grew up playing soccer, went to camps like the greatest do, then they would be able to compete with the best. Soccer is more than just being big and powerful, it's 50% chemistry with your team as well.

quote:I don't disagree with any of that. If soccer was the main sport in the USA, we would have amazing soccer players. But it isn't, and we don't.

You could put all those nfl and nba players on te field and just me and they wouldn't be able to take the ball away. That's how bad they would be.
