Anyone else like watching crazy city council meetings??

Al.com has a few on there from Alabama. These are interesting and a bit entertaining to watch.
Here's one from Tarrant City, AL, suburb of north Birmingham. Nobody likes this mayor.

If you enjoy this go back and watch some of the old Harris County MUD 188 meetings. They used to be on YouTube circa 2018-ish. Those women would go full blown crazy including hair pulling out and punches thrown over fire hydrant locations and nonsense. Once it became a youtube thing I think they all got replaced from the board, but it was gold while it lasted.

I’d imagine the most incompetent people are those that work for city, town, our county type governments.

Small town city government is usually a shite show, because the majority of smart people with ambition dip out of a small town once they have the opportunity.
What you have left are smart folks (usually not ambitious, just want to be left alone) and ambitious stupid people. The ambitious stupid people step up because most of the smart people left don't give a shite and have their own stuff to worry about.

The Baton Rouge Metro Council is the biggest joke. On most issues, their votes are completely split on racial lines. Complete block voting.

Back in 1998 in My hometown had a dumbass woman asking if this “information supaHiway, was going to be laid down anywhuuur near her property because she didn’t want the construction inconvenience or all dat noise.”
