I’m in Destin and am thinking about giving it a try. Any of you ever try it? Pros and cons?

I did it once. Most scared I’ve ever been. Would not do it again.

Yes, in Costa Rica for like $40. Felt like I was in that Jurassic Park 3 scene

Luckily I didn’t encounter a Spinosaurus.

Definitely worth it. But AFAIK there are no giant mountains covered in lush green jungle vegetation in Destin.

It’s fun till you think about sharks biting your legs off when they dip you down on the surface.

I did years ago, back when you had to run on the beach and jump up then pull the harness under your legs. It was fun. Let my kid and friends do it a couple of years ago. They had a blast.

I’ve been numerous times. It’s not a terrifying experience by any means, more like you’re just floating through the air.

Scariest part is being 400’ above the water and seeing all the silhouettes of sharks so close to the beach. I’ve always seen 2-3 each time we’ve gone up.

Nope, no one ever. Not sure how those folks stay in business all over the world.

Fun, but a scam on pricing. They tell you they’ll pull you a mile or whatever and are full of shite. When you pay, ask them how long you will be in the air and hold them to that time length. Amazing how many sharks you see as someone else mentioned.

Having a shark bite your leg while your feet dangle in the water before getting airborne.

The boat driver has a dilemma: Speed up and fly you back to shore, and drive around to pick you up while you chum the water.

This actually happened.

That's why I think Jaws is the scariest movie made.
