My next door neighbor growing up was Kevin Sullivan's ex wife and kid. Kevin would stop by occasionally. His kid was a spoiled bitch (btw, the Sting look a like contest was fixed at Clash of the Champions Knocksville because he was the winner). One day I told him my dad would beat up his dad and my dad told me to STFU.
Also, Lex Lugar beat up my best friends brother in Market Square in Knoxville about twenty five years ago. The dumbass (bf's brother) got stupid drunk and tried to pick a fight with him. He really regretted that.

I went to high school with the sister of a guy that ended up in the WCW (I think) in the early 2000's. His name was Lash LeRoux. Not sure how successful his wrestling career was, but he was a pretty nice dude.

The Free Birds wrestled in Monroe back in the 80's (or maybe early 90's) and apparently went to Sal's Saloon after the show. Michael P.S. Hayes tried to walk past Sal who was collecting $5 cover at the door. Sal stopped him and told him it would be $5. P.S. Hayes said, "Hey man, we don't pay cover, we're the Free Birds". Sal responded, "Boy, I don't give a god damn if you are the President of the United States." P.S. Hayes then paid the cover. I know after that they used to all hang out at BobbiSox at the Holiday Inn following shows in Monroe.

Lash was a regular on TV during the final year or two of WCW in 2000-2001 but faded into obscurity afterward when WWE bought WCW, as he apparently didn’t make the cut.

I had a friend almost get beaten to death by the 4 horsemen at bobbisox. He just wouldn't leave Ric Flair alone.

Grew up with Hacksaw Jim Duggan living about half a mile from my house. Had a friend who lived next door to him. Got to meet him, damn he was tall. A bunch from Mid South lived in some apartments my dad was in, The Fantastics, Magnum TA and Terry Taylor. TT actually asked my cousin how to get a stain out of his jacket. Good times

Saw Hacksaw Butch Reed working out at Don’s just off N. Harrell’s Ferry back in the late 80’s. Ted DiBiase was on the same flight as me when I was coming home from Camp Pendleton after I finished SOI. Use to see Dr. Death Steve Williams around town quite bit years ago....he lived in Benton. He passed away about 10 years ago.

My ex brother-in-law, used to work behind the scenes with WCW, then TNA. Got a pic backstage with Ric Flair throwing up the Four Horseman sign, back in the day. Met Foley, the Dudley’s, AJ Styles and a few others that escape my memory right now. Saw One Man Gang last summer in Baton Rouge at a restaurant in Baton Rouge eating lunch with his wife. A few other people besides me recognized him too because he was letting people take pics with him.
