5,436 new cases in Louisiana. 567 patients in hospitals. Who are these people that are still getting tested?

100 percent accurate. Im sitting in an urgent care waiting room, and an elderly lady just came in and asked for a covid test. They directed her elsewhere thankfully.

I know a few people with it now. I don't think it's coming back, as it never really left.

Haven’t looked at numbers but it seems like NOLA metro went through the new wave the last couple months. Seems to be tailing off now. Probably peaking in the rest of the state

Friend of mine who is 28 and 6’2 180lbs just had it bad for 3 weeks. Almost had to be hospitalized

This variant is nasty. Mask up, and get your boosters

A friend of mine just got out of the hospital for COVID last week.

I'm guessing she was probably tested.

I had it last week. Just used a home test to confirm. Felt like poo for two days then was fine.

There’s a significant run in my place of employment right now. Everyone is fine. Mild flu like symptoms. My 73 yo dad got over it a few weeks ago pretty easily

An employee of mine recently ended up in the hospital for it a couple weeks. He's fine now. At least from covid. While he was in the hospital, they found cancer in him. So now he's got that to deal with. The silver lining is him almost dying from covid may have actually saved his life.
