Meanwhile, refineries have been shut down in the US to boost ESG ratings (Environmental, Social, and Governance). We are going to achieve carbon neutrality by starving ourselves if we keep going this route.

I think the solution to this problem is to elect more Democrats. They always have a plan to resolve these problems.

They are. Some states have even filed lawsuits on the cancelation of leases by the Biden admin in early 2021.
