It's pathetic that this is something to celebrate but nice to see violent crime is down in one of Louisiana's shitholes. Too bad Baton Rouge and New Orleans are on track for another record-breaking year of murder.

199 in NOLA as of August 28. That's now 47 ahead of last year's record pace.

232 is the number to beat. I'm pretty sure they've hit 200 by now. The record watch thread needs to be started.

A little misleading. People are getting shot almost daily in Shreveport. Fortunately, the thugs can't shoot for shite.

If you didn’t write it down it didn’t happen, always makes your numbers look better.

Working for the government in a Democratic city is the only job I know where numbers get manipulated to make things look better.

BR is well behind last year's pace but still well above historical averages. Last year was just a banner year.

Finally, removing those statues is paying off.

They had a murder in central city lastnight so we’re at 200 for sure.

Did they remove any statues or cannons?
Our ancestors are laughing from the grave at how stupid people can be
Did they add any new statues

Baton Rouge is still tied for second place with Shreveport for Louisiana's most shithole city.

The aim has been off lately. Plenty of shootings per week that havent resulted in death.
