What happened to the kid is awful and Phi Delt deserves the hammer if this is true, but this is a huge overreaction by LSU. Why punish 20-25 percent of the student body who had nothing to do with this?
Hopefully cooler heads will prevail and LSU will make those who were involved pay the price and not the thousands of Greeks who are innocent.

Liberals actually love this. An excuse to shut down frats. Individuals did something wrong. Punish them. If you're going to blame an organization, then blame lsu. bullshite class warfare using a tragedy to push a social/political agenda.

I have no problem with the president shutting down all activities. He's sending a quick message that the shite that happened is not tolerated and there will be consequences.

It's barely about the messaging and more about the CYA for the PR shitstorm of a Greek event too soon after this getting out in the media. It would. Looks bad on LSU. Starts raising the questions of endemic binge drinking in Greek organizations.

Don't act like they're all innocent. Greeks are getting out of hand. Fights in the parade grounds every weekend, multiple arrests and a freaking stabbing last weekend. Something needed to be done anyway. I agree with suspending everyone to get them under control.
