Looks like he was trying to pass the truck on the shoulder and the truck swerved over and sent him into the tree

Good for the truck

Not the way this will play out in court, though. Any first year attorney is going to argue that Baldwin came speeding up from behind and the garbage truck, unsure of what to do, pulled over to the right.

Or that he’s pulling over to the right to pick up trash?! Why the frick would you get between a garbage truck and garbage cans on trash day? I’m sure the truck had lights on as well. He’s not cutting Baldwin off. Stop it. Don’t try to illegally pass a garbage truck on the right when it pulls over to the right and comes to a stop every house.

From the top right time almost 12 seconds from when the garbage truck entered the road to where he hits the tree.

That's a hell of a bad reaction time to being cut off.

He is not becasue he did not do it on purpose and that incident could have happened to anyone. You are just lucky you arent not a famous POS, rather just a POS.

That’s actually not true. Established protocol is that even when shooting blanks, no one is supposed to be in front of the gun.

I didn't pull the trigger. The gun went off by itself.

You’re right, I wasn’t even thinking about the fact it was the garbage truck probably had its flashers on the whole time

Baldwin tries to go to the right to stomp on the gas down the shoulder not realizing that the garbage truck will be stopping to get garbage

Looks like the garbage truck, took out the garbage

Pun intended

Looks like the truck was pulling into a driveway or other roadway and stopped when he noticed an a-hole speeding on the right trying to pass.

1-why is this news worthy?
2-who is the audience that listens to this guy ramble on like that?
3-1 9volt battery in the smoke alarm would be very helpful.

The accident happened 10+ seconds after the trash truck had completely turned into the road. Thus, Baldwin was assuredly going too fast. The video even shows the time in the top right corner. It's complete blasphemy to think the trash truck "caused" the wreck.

Uh, yeah. When proving negligence…as in negligent homicide.

The only argument Baldwin may have after pulling his illegal move is that the truck driver saw him and moved to the right on purpose to "punish" him. (We all know people do that sort of thing).

However, I'm also sure garbage truck drivers generally know they are a slow moving whale with pissed off drivers behind them all the time, so I doubt this scenario has much probability. Most likely was just doing his job until the idiot came flying up on the shoulder in the rain no less.

oh interesting. seems like that would be a civil matter.. esp when not actually a 100 percent followed rule by all...

Tell me again how the legal system works

lol. Baldwin probably thought Trump picked up an extra route for a garbage run and his TDS kicked in and Baldwin tried to ram him.

Negligent homicide isn’t a criminal matter?
