I flew it a month ago on a trip to Paris. It was great.

Would be great if this trial run is successful and they up the service.

Air France is an outstanding airline with better food and better looking stewardesses than any US airline.

On a H.S. Senior trip in 1968 over Easter break I flew Air France from Kennedy to Orly.
The slogan was "Air France - Bonne Chance".
ETA: We had a great time on the flight. It was on a 727. I was only 17 and we were all smoking cigarettes and drinking wine. I think it was about a 7-8 hour flight to get there.

Air France’s food is unbelievable for an airline

Just booked 5 seats on this using virgin Atlantic as a skyteam partner for 40,000 miles each round trip. Cash fare is right around $1500.
Chase is running a 30% transfer bonus to VA currently so round trip runs about 31,000 chase miles. Amex also has a 1:1 transfer to VA.

Like others have said, AF is a good airline to fly and their food is better than most. Brussels to me is a just a tad bit better but I'd fly either. Lufthansa is now one of the worst Euro commercial airlines IMO. Love me some KLM as well.

I have flown Air France to Europe a number of times and thought they were fine. In fact a few times when we booked American Airlines, the leg of our flight that landed in Europe was Air France.

A 727 on a 7-8 hr flight? It would have been a flying fuel can. Maybe a 707?

In typical New Orleans fashion, the flight to CDG is looking like at least an hour delay due to local cleaning and catering.
Impressive considering the airplane has been parked at the gate since 4:30 pm

Life’s guilty pleasures of the 1970’s.
Cigarettes and alcohol a perfect combination to fly with in a tube going 500 MPH at 30,000 feet.

One of the better airlines I’ve ever been on.
