Those 3 hours of Nitro could be a drag.

Id watch raw and catch the nitro replay. Made for a shitty day of school the next day though lol
having both Raw & Nitro immediately replay after the live shows ended definitely aided my wrestling viewing capabilities

We all just stopped watching WCW in early 99. I guess we just lost interest after the Wolpac turned heel and Goldberg had finally lost.
I hung on until the bitter end. I'd pay attention to wwf but I was loyal to what I grew up on and Sting was always my fav wrestler.

Cody on PPV's
"So, I think you probably look at Double or Nothing and All Out as tentpole events, and there may be another one," Rhodes said in an interview following his impressive victory against his brother Dustin on Saturday night. "We're not going to do a pay-per-view every month, and I realize that it was $50, and if you ask people to part with their money, you got to make sure that it's worth it."
I'm glad this is the mindset. $50 every month is crazy and they seem to know that.

So Fyter Fest and Fight For the Fallen will either be free to watch or not on TV?

are those actual ppvs or some special event type thing? I thought there next actual ppv was All out?

I'd pay $50 for a ppv every 3 months are so. Not sure what frequency they plan on doing them

I'm asking the same question.....it seems strange that they would either not televise Jon Moxley's first match or give it away for free....same for the AEW title match at Fight for the Fallen

They are doing four big ppvs per year. Not sure how the other shows are gonna work. They could still be ppv but cheaper, or maybe have them stream exclusively on Bleacher Report for free as long as you have their streaming service.

I don't understand it being 35 on fite but only outside the US. I'd be down for that

I will say this...I have been watching WWE for the last 12 years...before that I watched during the attitude era.
I want WWE to be good. They have a roster full of some of the best wrestlers in the world.
That being said I want AEW to succeed. I could probably be considered a “Mark” for AEW because I have wanted this venture to succeed since the company was announced. Those of us that are wrestling fans have wanted and needed an alternative for a long time.
I will continue to watch WWE and hope that they adapt. That is the best thing for all of us.
By the way... I rock my Bullet Club, Elite, and AEW shirts as much as I can. Wrestling is a great form of entertainment that I wish more people took part in.

He was the only Shield member I liked but frick him, what a self serving cock sucking a-hole. WWE makes his wife the first female announcer, they give him a nice send off and tribute, and this is how he repays them

Yeah because you are totally clued in on what and why he left in the 1st place

Uh, dude. They tried to bury him on his way out. I believe they had him lose to EC3 then get ragdolled by Drew. it took Rollins and Reigns coming out after a show ended and calling him out to the ring, getting the huge pop from the fans before WWE started handling him differently

serious question, do you work for WWE or have family who does? because you are very over the top defensive about AEW having a massively successful night last night.
everyone in this thread grew up on and watches WWE and only wants the product to get better. no one is cheering for WWE to go out of business just because they are excited about real competition coming into play. however that doesn't change the fact that WWE has a long history of treating most of their "independent contractors" like shite and locking them into terrible contracts.
for every dollar a star wrestler gets paid the WWE gets 1000 and that wrestler still has to pay for all of their road expenses, health insurance, and despite being an "independent contractor" can't work elsewhere.

I cant wait for RAW, I wanna see how they respond to the shots taken by AEW. Hopefully it results in a better show.
With competition between these 2, the winner is US. AEW isnt going to challenge WWE anytime soon, Hell RAW has a 25 year head start but I do hope they make them realize it's time to change it up and improve their show. Youre not the only big dog on the street anymore.
