I agree with you about all the neckbeard smarks.
But I am going to give it a shot and check it out. It does has the same feel when “The Outsiders” showed up.
We also know how that all ended as well.

How are you any better? I see you bitch about AEW in WWE threads all the time. It seems you rather bitch about that than enjoy the actual WWE product.

It's reactionary
You get tired of seeing the same "frick WWE, I am cancelling my subscription, I'm not watching anymore" posts over and over and over again, as well as the "XXX wrestler needs to give WWE the bird and jump ship to AEW" posts
That's why I bitch about AEW. Because all of these AEW marks think that AEW is going to be a flawless company that does not suffer from any of the problems that they seem to have with WWE. Everyone will be perfectly used, perfectly booked, every storyline will be played out to perfection and not one wrestler will be unsatisfied.

also just how damn good is Dustin Rhodes? he's one of the best in ring workers of all time
it's a shame Vince only saw him as a comedy gimmick for most of his WWE career. Goldust is an amazing character and had some great moments in the 90's, but could have been much more over the last decade or so.

I don’t get what’s so funny. It was also streamed on another YouTube channel and on other apps. Not everyone was watching it on the AEW channel.

It was the pre show, and it was free, that's the issue
A random RAW or Smackdown segment gets 2 million plus views within 24 hours

Just finished watching it this morning. The battle royale had its moments and the segment with Hangman and MJF was good. The Cody-Dustin match and the Jericho-Omega matches were good. I really couldn't get into the rest of the show. Also, the fact that there was a tranny on the show is a huge minus. I guess we'll see where it goes from here.

If you didn't enjoy that Bucks vs Lucha Bros match then I don't know what to day. Stick with Corbin vs Rollins I guess.

I just don't enjoy spot-fests. There were about 10 moves where you think, "OK. That's got to finish it" and then the kick-out at 2 and 9/10ths. That just seems like way too much to me.

Stick with Corbin vs Rollins I guess.

Both already bigger superstars than 85% of what you saw last night.....DoN was good but why can't we just let it be what it was a good Indie PPV and not compare it to WWE? That could change but that's what it was and they have to work on their price point.

I was thinking that too, then I remembered this was their first show, kinda their WrestleMania, and we all know how many false finishes WM has so I took it like that.

You can't just 'let it be' because AEW and their fans are saying that they are better than the WWE. Spot monkeys generally don't last long in the wrestling business because their bodies break down. Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan wrestled basically the same match for 30 years and they are two of the top draws ever.
Indy guys for the most part dont understand psychology. Their 'psychology' is high spot (or just spot) then look at the crowd for cheers. You shouldn't have to tell the crowd when to cheer (yes I know wwe pies in cheers so don't even start). John Cena and his 5 moves of doom sells more merchandise then the law should allow and he is very basic with his matches.
Match quality is good and all but you need 'characters/charisma' in order to be legit competition to WWE. ROH, TNA (or whatever it is now) and other indy shows blow WWE out of the water with work rate matches.... so tell me why they don't succeed (minus tna and Dixie Carter)?
AEW should concentrate on themselves and not have the penis envy they obviously do for wwe.

WWE guys kick out of finishers all the time. Bucks vs Luchas was a spotfest but that's to be expected from them. I'll take that match over Reigns vs Lesnar any day.

So i was there. Cody vs Dustin was ones of the best matches I've ever seen
