People who prepared for an emergency did better than those that did not?

This kina hot take is why we come to the OT

Preppers that had generators, fuel, propane stoves, drinking water reserves, food in pantry, parts for waterline breakage, etc weathered the storm.

Wait....I have all this stuff, but I would not consider myself a "prepper".

They may not make a show about you, but I’m confident that if you have everything on that list, then you are more prepared for disaster than 99% of people.

, but there’s really no excuse for not having some level of survival equipment just in case.

If someone doesn't have a couple weeks worth of stuff to get them by, they're really stupid.

Even my Biden supporting neighbors have multiple guns. They’re probably more moderate than an internet liberal but I really don’t know a lot of democrats that don’t have guns in TX. But I also don’t live in a liberal cesspool like Austin or Dallas.

Same, have to tell my wife that we are preppers, hell, we’re probably on a government watch list.

Nothing wrong with having a little emergency food, fuel, water, ammo etc. If that makes me a prepper so be it.

They can call me a prepper while they freeze and eat bread they purchased last minute while I’m warm and eating Packit Gourmet if they want

I love stuff like that. Cheap, lasts a long time, and just add water.

Compact and easy to store, too.

You'd figure folks would know preparation is key.

If they surveyed my hood they would have found 500+ families who didn’t prep for shot yet never lost power during this year’s “polar vortex” charade.

We have extra stuff for a bad hurricane. Could survive around 2 months with the stuff I think. Close at least. Generator and everything of course.

they did not have to wait hours in line for groceries, gasoline, propane, drinking water. Know of one person that has ordered pvc pipe parts from Amazone Florida because there are none left in texas.

Preppers get some amount of ridicule,,,,this time being ready paid off.

Keep it quiet or the left will find ways to redistribute their shite to others who didn’t prepare at all, because equity.
