A survey of ten preppers affected by the storm showed excellent recoveryPosted by Trevaylin
on 2/22/21 at 3:13 pm

Preppers that had generators, fuel, propane stoves, drinking water reserves, food in pantry, parts for waterline breakage, etc weathered the storm.
they did not have to wait hours in line for groceries, gasoline, propane, drinking water. Know of one person that has ordered pvc pipe parts from Amazone Florida because there are none left in texas.
Preppers get some amount of ridicule,,,,this time being ready paid off.

But did they have a gun to keep people like me who aren’t preppers from taking their shit?

Groundbreaking. People who already had stuff didn't need to find that stuff.

This based off of any sort of factual evidence or are you just expressing a thought?

I wouldn’t call myself a prepper by any means, but there’s really no excuse for not having some level of survival equipment just in case.
I feel like there is a distinction from being prepared to last a couple of weeks in case of emergency (I don’t really see much ridicule of these people), and being a true prepper like on one of those shows that has years of dried corn, etc in a bunker somewhere. Edited for there/their.

Unfortunately I lost them all in when my boat sank.

I do not know anyone in Texas that does not have a gun or a half dozen guns

The padlock on my bunker froze and I couldn't get to any of my stuff.

I went the the store the day before. That seemed to do the trick
Yeah, the OP is probably confusing common sense with being a "prepper".

What do you think?

Having a generator, extra water, propane stoves, gas and propane makes you a prepper?
Damn, I'm a prepper.
