My wife will get pissy and do the whole silent treatment bullshite. I guess she thinks it makes me reflect on what I must have done wrong to anger her. In actuality, I’m just happy with the silence.

I’m very familiar with that. Mine would get like that and stay like that after much prodding to get her to tell me what’s on her mind and what we need to resolve, but to no avail, and then the next day ask me why we don’t have a more open line of communication?

Women don’t actually want their problems fixed. They just want to complain about them. And then if they don’t have any they will start an argument over nothing, or something that happened long ago, just so they have something to grouse about.
Best course of action is to disengage and let them stew. They’ll get over it eventually. Then have sex and make their toes curl real good and it will all be over.

A wise man told me after it way too late of course something I’d pass on as a nugget of advise to any young man about to get serious with a woman…
