Must’ve been late in the NES lifecycle to be 79.99. Definitely had that max controller.

I got one when they first came out, kinda remember it being 89.99 or 99.99. It came with Super Mario and maybe Rad Racer.

I had the Advantage. Overall I thought it was disappointing except for the turbo button.

We had an Intellivision before the Nintendo. I think they retailed for $275 or something crazy like that. Atari and Colleco were similar I think.

They were 99.99 for the longest of time. Took what seemed like an eternity to save up my 2.50 a week allowance for one dad kicked in an extra 20 at the end. Had a sheet of paper in my wall where I kept subtracting 2.50 from 100 each week.
