A young girl sitting on a giant inflatable unicorn was swept out to sea by strong currents off the town of Antirio in the Gulf of Corinth on Monday, according to the Greek City Times.

The girl, about 4 or 5 years old, drifted for about a half-mile after escaping her parents’ attention. When they realized their daughter was missing, the frantic couple informed port officials, who alerted the captain of the ferry Salaminomachos.

I'm sure the ferry crew brought her to land and showed her the best way to get to Sweden, Germany, and France

Two girls rescued off Dublin coast in an inflatable flamingo (warning: Like the unicorn video, phone was turned the wrong way)

This almost happened to my brother when we were kids. I watched it all from the balcony of our hotel in Gulf Shores.
Kid brother playing in a raft, quickly started going out...parents noticed too late. He was way the frick out there, little fricker was getting out of the boat to try and kick back to shore. Luckily there was a woman out past the 2nd bar, snorkeling. She yelled at him to get back in the raft and swam him to shore...she had fins on.

Cussed out my parents. They were traumatized by the whole thing. I thought it was hilarious.

Amazing that she survived. Someone was watching over her the whole time.

I swam about a quarter mile away to retrieve some kid on an inflatable in a similar scenario to this. Dumbass parents didn't notice how far off he was floating and they couldn't swim.

He was a little older than 5 but not by much. Maybe 8.

Lot of dipshits out there that either don’t understand, or don’t respect, the enormity and power of the ocean.

Calm sea could be why parents were lulled into a false sense of security. Rough seas...kid isnt in the water
