She was lost in the water? If so that is scary as hell and amazing she was found alive.

Aunt had posted this. Not sure I understand it but anyway

“She was with boyfriend. They came back. His jet ski sank after they returned. It had a bad seal. She went back out alone. That's what I am understanding at this point. “

Then recently

“Thank you so much each of you... Ambulance is coming. She was in accident. Badly injured... Each of you are a blessing! “

“She is in bad shape, but they found her. She hit a tree and the ambulance is on the way now. Thank you to each and every one of you for your prayers and help. “

We know that part. How was it she needed to be “found”? If she crashed into another water-vehicle you’d think the person(s) on the other craft would know where she was.

Crazy that she was out all night in the storm

“Deputies began searching for 26-year-old Laura Thomas of Covington around 9 p.m. Friday after she was reported missing.
She was found Saturday and transported to a local hospital”

Might have been only her hitting something.....but I get your point...,,how would they know she crashed if she was still missing

About 10 years ago, a guy ploughed into the wood fender at I-12 in a bass boat on a weekend night while returning home from T Rivers. I think they found him a couple of days later.

As an old USCG neighbor once told me, "Sunday boaters are Tuesday's floaters."

On a jet ski, alone, bad weather in the area, well after dark, boyfriend had no way to go look for her because his jet ski sank, and they waited until 9 p.m. to report her missing?

Years ago I saw a girl get airlifted from the launch that later died. Some moron pulling her on a tube and going way too fast swung wide and threw her into the trees in the bank

Father in law had some French foreign exchange students. They were doing same thing and he accidentally threw them into the trees. Fortunately they weren’t hurt

I did all that tubing and whatnot as a kid, but wasn’t particularly fond of it then. You couldn’t pay me to do it now.

So his jet ski sinks and she's just like "sucks to be you!"?

I can believe it sank if it was a real Kawasaki Jet Ski. I find it hard to believe a Seadoo or Waverunner would sink. Those have to have anti sinking foam in the hulls...it's been USCG regulations on all boat manufacturers for years.
