one thing I've noticed that is common with all religions, (ir)regardless of their differences with each other, is that they all advise their congegations to do not mess with that stuff

People need to do your homework and quit fearmongering and spreading false information.
Definition of seance is: a meeting at which people attempt to make contact with the dead, especially through the agency of a medium.
It’s not something we want our young people to get involved in, so we gave our youth ministry parents information about the ‘seance’ to warn them so they could make the correct decision regarding their child(ren).
Even if it is pretend, it doesn’t mean that it won’t pique some youngster’s interest. So, as a youth minister, it is my duty to make sure young people and their parents are informed, especially in matters of the faith.
You are benefitting anyway, so no reason for you to spread misinformation as well. Such as your comment:
