then are screened Columbia's "The Three Stooges" short films in a controlled environment in order to monitor the drug's affect on their enjoyment of what's on the screen.
What do you suppose the results of the experiment might be? Would all test subjects be laughing at the Stooges? Ignoring them?

What exactly is considered to be "high" here? How are tolerances taken into consideration?

None of the test subjects are users of the drug.

That's still not a fair study. Not everyone gets ripped the first time they try marijuana, especially if they're not familiar with how to properly inhale.

That must be taken into consideration. The experiment is invalid unless all subjects toke well and get intoxicated, but, not too intoxicated to watch a Three Stooges short film.
Might you be available to be a technical advisor to the test subjects?

The test subjects would have a more layered, deeper interaction with the films, which one could argue is a higher quality or more enjoyable experience. For example, one could be sent down a deep thought on the origin of the stooges, or how they were written/improvised, or just go into a state of “awe” when recognizing how amazing of a performance it is.
But on the other hand is that the way the Stooges are best consumed? I would probably argue the stooges are best in a small dose, taken at face value, where you just get a few laughs and don’t think twice. It’s just slapstick humor. No need to take a deep dive.
