re: $1 Trillion Green Investment Matches Fossil Fuels For First TimePosted by Steadyhands

The investment amount might match, but the energy output won't even be close. At best, it will probably be 20%, making it 5 times as much spending. I don't measure my investments by what I put into it, rather, what comes out of it. What a scam to make some people filthy rich.

Isn’t Bill Gates building a micro sodium nuclear reactor out west somewhere?
That's what I read somewhere. So naturally my enthusiasm is stunted. Similar to silicon valley tech. Was a proponent until I wasn't.
I did read also that we are helping China build salt reactors with our knowledge, but yeah, not so much here.

quote] Fossil Fuels [/quote]
Is the term 'Fossil Fuels' really a misnomer?
We know from space exploration that other planets & their moons have methane in them.
There is known no dinosaurs or plant life on them.
Another huge misnomer. Whats the old saying, 'there is no free lunch'.
Huge, huge amounts of resources are needed to create the lefts wishful thinking. See lithium mining.
Has someone figured out how to produce hydrogen cheaper than it is to produce it?
It takes massive amounts of energy to separate the hydrogen atom(s) from the oxygen atom.
See covalent bonds.
The auto manufacturers chasing after EVs are going make Fords Edsel fiasco look like a walk in the park.
Can we stop with the foolishness? We are pouring tremendous amounts of time, resources and money into unproven pipe dreams.
Time and time again, wind and solar have been proven to be huge drains.
