He has looked really good all preseason, and there are some teams that need a competent QB.

I want to keep him. God forbid drew cant take the field for some reason, i like our chances with him in.

Some help on defense. It's risky getting rid of a competent backup, but CSP is in all in mode.

Because you're not gonna win a championship with McCown. Brees hasn't been injured his entire saints career (at least enough to miss a game). May be worth it if we can pick up a good defensive player.

Pretty much. It would need to be some immediate help on the defense for it to be worth it. A lower pick next year would be too risky imo.

I'd seriously doubt it. I cant think of any playmakers who are on a team that needs a QB that badly.

whatever is brought in for him is not worth it. you aren't going to get any game changer for him. he doesn't have huge value..
and again it's still huge to have a capable backup.. look around the league how it benefited other teams.
for the very first time since brees has been here i actually feel like the saints could win consistently if something was to happen. and no i didn't even feel that confident with daniel.
