Would you trade a 2nd for Jarvis?

I'd want nothing more than Mr. Landry to come to the black and gold. Offense would be unstoppable. Definitely would forfeit a high pick for him to come home.

Nope. We already have to start taking flyers on QB’s soon. Need all the picks we can get.

I love him, but he would cost too much money. He’s looking for like 15 mil per year. He would instantly be the second highest paid player on offense behind Drew. Too much for a slot receiver.

I’d do it for a conditional 5th that turns into a 4th if Jarvis does 1000 yards and 8 TD’s. Plus sign for 9.5-10m a year MAX

Absolutely not. Makes no sense. If you want him just wait a year cause no way he resigns with Miami but he’s too expensive for what he is worth no matter what.

I’d love to have him but I would also love to see him sign the tag and screwing the Dolphins with a 16m contract.

frick no. I don’t want him at that price anyway, certainly wouldn’t want to give up a pick too. Will always be a fan of his, but it’s just not meant to be for him and the Saints right now. I hope he kills it in the AFC.

If he agreed to a 8-10m/yr deal prior to the trade, sure. Otherwise, frick no. I’d give a 5th for a 1 year rental tho

For our 3rd maybe.

But his contract is too big for us at this point in Brees career. If somehow Brees didn't for a 4 yr. 60 mil. Deal.

In a heartbeat. Too bad we don't have one. Wouldn't trade a first for him.

No

A team who is doing things the right way does not give up a high draft pick AND pay a guy stupid money for his skill set. Jarvis is not this dynamic player to warrant all these should we threads. Hell hes not worth 12-15m even if we signed him as a free agent. I’d argue with a great qb the only guys in the league worth that are Brown and Hopkins...maybe OBJ due to his game breaking ability. Otherwise you draft guys and sign decently priced free agents.

Again if Jarvis went to Indiana or Northwestern this wouldn’t even be a question.

All of this.

OP:

1) We don't have a 2nd round pick
2) Landry is going to cost too much for his value to our team

Love him but not for the price. #1 he has gotta way more targets than any Saints WR has ever gotten under Payton. His numbers would definitely go down. #2 Wasn't last year enough insight into the need for fresh young players for success? You can sign a Byrd for $56mil and get 3 picks in 3 years or draft a Williams for $5-6mil/4 years and get 4 picks in year one. #3 Slot receiver is NOT the missing piece that will put the team over the top. You pay the big bucks for your biggest needs. #4 Snead was a mystery last year. Why not a return to the 141 catches he had in the previous two seasons? Even close would do.

frick. That.

ALL IN with Drew until he hangs em up or starts actually sucking. Use all draft picks to improve the team around Drew.
