Brees is not retiring after this year or next. Dude is playing at an elite level at 39. He has weapons out the arse on offense, elite run game, and damn good young defense

92-62 in his career for a win % of 60%, 200 TDs to 130 INTs, 10-5 in the playoffs with a ring. 2-0 vs our asses, I know that

This is a dumb hypothetical thread but the running joke that Flacco sucks is silly. He’s overpaid like a lot of QBs but he’s capable of winning games. He’s not exciting bc he’s played on defensive minded teams centered around vanilla offensive schemes with limited weapons.

Never said Flacon was elite; but he does have a good arm and plenty of game time expierence, including winning a superbowl.

JuSt one of many prospects that could be available when Brees retires that came mind...only other QB that comes to mind with a SB win under their belt thst will be available in the next year or two is Nick Foles...just figured Flaco would come at a cheap price for a couple years that could provide veteran leadership for a young gun to develop under
Brees arm strength is not what it once was, and it was evident on his deep passes this past season...no one out runs Father time

he's also a completely limited QB

he has a big arm but it takes a while to get it out and he has negative mobility in the pocket

even if he's underrated (and he's not), he doesn't fit into our offense whatsoever

I’m sure if y’all signed Flacco, y’all would be on his nuts talking about how he’s got just as many Super Bowls as Brees...

No he has zero passion after he got paid. He makes Cutler seem like a try hard by comparison.
