Winning today and next weekend is just a waste of 5-10 draft spots.

It will be a miracle to even win both, then we have to have others lose to what? get our shite together finally in time to play 4 of the best teams in the league? Not happening. We should consider it a blessing to just lose out.

Saints need a QB. Nobody in the draft worth not trying to make the playoffs for. Plenty of talent in the 20s to try to make the playoffs where the Saints defense could take us to the second round possibly.

With Philly winning today, is it even possible for the saints to get in? I don’t know what all the scenarios are other than Philly and the Vikings needed to lose today.

Admittedly if we were in there for the no1 pick and there was a guy who would change our fortunes then yeah it would make sense not to want to win. But we aren’t talking about that. We have a chance to take a really good defense to the playoffs versus moving up a few spots in the middle of the round when we need a QB who is not there at really any point in the round.
So yeah shut up and root for our team to make the playoffs.

I agree with you Hang. Win as many as you can every year no matter what. Keep the winning culture alive.
Would be a huge accomplishment and a point of optimism if we overcome all this shite this season, and still make the playoffs.
Goes a long way with the young players, I would think.
