Why not just give the coaches a penalty flag?

They can already challenge a call, why not have a penalty flag the coach can use if he sees a penalty that the refs missed? Lose a timeout if it was overturned, like a challenge?

There needs to be some sort of challenge ability on a play like this. If anything it can maybe hold refs a little more accountable.

I get many are judgement calls, but that is so clear it would have to be overturned.

I really hope they are fired.

Agreed
The fact that not one, but TWO zebras blatantly kept their flags in their pockets should be reviewable.
Two fouls on one play.

Payton should have thrown the challenge flag for sure. Make them stop the game and address it.

I don’t see why helmet to helmet isn’t reviewable anyway.

Hell I actually thought it was

I guess if the flag is actually thrown they can review it to be sure, but can’t review a questionable hit where the flag wasn't thrown?

Because coaches would throw that every play. No, you need to be able to challenge no-calls.

You dont get challenges back just because you get it right. I said just like challenges, so you would only get to use it 2 times per game +1 if both were successful.
