Even if it looked bad at the moment it would’ve been the right thing to do.

I just don’t understand why if they realize how egregious it was, go ahead and throw it. Especially when it directly effects the outcome of the game. Just swallow your pride, ref, and throw the flag. There were more than one ref that could have made that call.

Absolutely. If it’s questionable (and this one wasn’t close) then pick it up.

One of them should have had the balls to do it.

Who gives a shite.

Sure he play calling was far from perfect but that does not change the fact that the refs blew a call that would have let the saits end the game with a few kneel downs

Bad Play Calling vs. Bad Officiating. They are two separate issues. We're now discussing Bad Officiating. Try to keep up.

Yep and it was the bad officiating that was the immediate cause of the loss

I once had a band teacher that taught me, “if you’re going to frick up, frick up big, and stand confident in your decision”

Well we called a play that forced the defender to commit two penalties on one play to try and stop...

It’s not victim mentality when it is actually what happened.

Are you honestly suggesting. That if the refs for that call right, the Saints still would have lost.

Why are people legitimately trying to blame something other than the game changing call?

I just feel like they need to coach the refs better.

They have changed the way they make calls due to replays. They know they can reverse a call so they let them play through sometimes more so than before replays were available.

They need to concentrate more on penalty calls now. If it is in a true game changing moment, they need to throw a flag. Like was stated. If incorrect, they can always pick it up.

This is what I said.

Clearly it was shown on a jumbo screen and everyone reacted. The refs even admitted they missed it, but surely they saw they missed it.

I don't get why they don't throw it, even if late.. Get it right. We've seen flags get picked up late after a discussion.

Like it or not, He literally coached a winning game plan. Like, it was done. Finished. Over.

The call at hand negated that.
