Just doing 5-7 step drop backs with this O-Line today is just insane. Payton always does this and when he gets too cute it’s never good.

It’s fine if he’s a passer but he holds onto the ball for a fricking century. It’s infuriating

He’s still a fricking quarterback. He has to eventually drop back and scan the field and pass the football. Yes he’s taking too long at times. And yes he’s not our most skilled quarterback. But he’s still the starting quarterback right now.
