MT and it’s just a personal preference

Think MT is less of a system player and would be successful anywhere else that can get the ball near him.

MT doesn't seem to have alligator arms or be afraid of contact going up, so there's that.
Thomas ftw.
Thomas ftw.

That 2013 offense was damn dependent on Graham to get points on the board and convert in redzone, but I think it still pales in comparison to the offense of today being dependent on MT. Maybe this changes a little this year with Cook being added.
So that being said, and considering our top$ QB is about to retire;; MT all-day.
I'm sure you're about to drop some "in a vacuum" statistics on us that make Graham look like a steal comparatively if I had to guess.

It’s an “in a vacuum” question. One or the other

You should use % of cap space instead of the contract numbers. Graham at his price looks like a steal today but at the time that was top dollar.

Somebody downvoting like a mofo in here.

Thomas because he's a more complete player at his position. If you look at Graham as a TE then he didn't perform in the blocking game and he struggled with physical defenders at the line. These issues are more apparent for a TE.
Not knocking Graham, he was a solid player that really took over the game in the red zone.

He's going to wait to see what the majority picks and then go with the other.
So Lester is a Jimmy guy.

This is a no brainer due to the contracts.

by 2013 especially after watching Seattle shut down Jimmy twice makes this kinda lopsided for me.
Thomas can do everything a WR is expected to do at a really high if not elite level minus taking the top off
Graham couldnt block or beat jams with the right personnel
also you cant really compare cap figures at different times
10 million per year was top dollar for a TE back then just like 20 million is for a WR now.

Graham's money was 3.01% of the cap
If what is being reported is correct, Thomas will own the highest cap% on the team

MT all the way. what he did last year being really the only receiving threat we had, i'd say that shows his worth.
