Which game will Brees pass Manning for #1 all-time passing touchdowns?

He's 19 away from tying and 20 away from breaking it. I'm saying week 8 at home

Given how poor he was playing at the end of the year, it may take him all season to get there. Now, if it was injury related, possibly week 12. But his numbers fell off a cliff after the Falcons game.

His arm wears out 10-12 games into the season. That's why his production falls off.

Hope it's at home. Last year's Washington game was incredible to be at.

Chances are it will be at home. Week 5, 6, and 7 are at home. Week 5 TB, week 6 at jacksonville, week 7 at chicago

Just for fun I went back and looked at his stats post Falcons game and yeah he did drop off pretty badly for two weeks, but then his stats slowly got better and better and his numbers in the Eagles playoff game were actually pretty great (28-38 for 301 and 2 TDs). Leads me to believe the injury rumor more than ever. You wouldn't see that kind of gradual improvement after the low at Dallas if it had been his age catching up with him.

If he throws in practice, it may be time to stop that or limit it to a high degree. It looked like he didn't have the confidence to make some throws in the last 1/3 of the season.

Our WRs were garbage outside Thomas. That's why his numbers fell.

Why was he doing so well earlier in the season then? This doesn’t explain that. What changed at the end of the year?

I don’t think so. They fell dramatically for the two games that included the Falcons game and then they steadily improved. His numbers in the Eagles playoff game were pretty stellar. That feels like an injury situation to me.

hopefully he breaks it early and we are undefeated.
want him to rest for month or so before the last game or two. be fresh for the playoffs.
his arm isn't up to a whole season anymore.

Injury thing could be legit, but there's also Ginn going down, Smith getting hurt in the Eagles game (regular season), and Watson falling off a cliff.
Once Kirkwood started to really get rolling he started getting back in a groove. Then Ginn coming back was a HUGE boost. Kept them from triple teaming Mike every play.

Yeah I think it was all of that. What I don't think it was, was oh my arm is suddenly old and gonna fall off in Week 11.
