What the hell happened to Coby Fleener??

Teams have been hit hard with TE injuries this season, especially the Bengals losing Eiffert for the season with a hurt Kroft. Then Seattle with Dissly out for season and NYG with Engram fighting to come back.
It's just insane to think about a player we signed to a 36 million dollar contract not getting picked up by anyone. Surely he's cleared concussion protocol by now? I mean, I know he was a major disappointment for us, but surely hes better than Cincinnati's 3rd string TE?

He did take some pretty nasty hits. Are teams in any way liable for signing players with concussion history, even if they get medically cleared and sign waivers? I guess I'm just wondering if he could even sign with a team if he did still want to play

He sucked for us but I will forever be thankful for his contributions in our comeback against the Skins last season.

Member when CSP said when we signed them that while watching his films, he was always open.

His concussions were serious enough to where the dude has legit neurological issues that are still ongoing.

Lol. Fair point. I just don't know wtf Payton saw in this guy. Was CSP responsible for the Coleman signing too?! He should just let Ireland do his fricking job and trust him

Will Smith the actor... played the concussion doctor in the movie Concussion which was supposed to be the story of blowing the lid off of everything in the NFL with concussion cover ups. Guess I could’ve clarified that one.
