Assuming we trade for Butler, what other moves does the board think should be made?

I would like to see us sign another RB and FS. Wouldn't mind a TE or another WR.

I'd like another cheap WR on a prove it deal. Anything else is a crapshoot until the Draft

We need a TE. We have enough tape on Fleener and it isn't good.

Still wouldn't mind Claiborne/another DB. Can't have enough depth there.

Kinda but they are looking into retirement homes. Priest Holmes knees has offered to room with his to reduce costs.

If they plan to keep Peat at guard we need better tackle depth.
If they plan to move Peat to RT we need better guard depth.

And do they coaches like our depth at safety and TE?

I would like to see a veteran backup Safety.

Maybe a cheap RB.

We have positioned ourselves well in FA this year, and through trades. With two picks in the first round and an extra in the third....we are positioned to draft immediate contributors.
If the Malcom Butler trade occurs we will likely lose one of those picks after the first round, but we will also have addressed arguably our biggest remaining need in a CB (between that and edge rusher). There should be some nice choices at 11 (or at 32) for an impact DE.

I also wouldn't hate snatching McCaffrey in this draft. The guy can do anything CSP needs him to on the offense. We still have a good group of WRs with MT and Snead. After those two, Drew can help establish anyone as a #3 and #4. But I think that McCaffrey will give us back some of that explosive element that we lost with trading Cooks. I think he could really be dynamic in this offense.

The absolute biggest remaining need via FA or the Draft is an edge rusher though

I agree with this. But it'd almost definitely have to be at 32. Assuming we get our DE at 11, get Butler for 42, have we positioned ourselves in free agency to be able to take what most would consider a luxury pick? (I actually think we need another weapon. Yes, we had the #1 offense, but not all yards are created equal.). But could we afford to wait until the 3rd to take a corner?

Re-sign Sterling Moore and extend Willie Snead.
