Sorry folks, the Falcons have officially packed it in.

The panthers on the other hand...

quote:

Brees gets his 2nd ring just like the other hall of fame quarterbacks , they are going to destroy us twice . Our seasons over .

quote:

Brees can literally make anyone a star, he doesn’t have weapons as much as the Saints simply have Brees the oline is playing great but brees’ play style isn’t exactly hard to block for (won’t ever run, quick release etc)

LINK /

quote:

NEVER seen a team so dominate as this year’s Saints team. I mean my god, it’s almost as though the other team should just be in 4 down territory right from the start because once Brees gets the ball they are going to drive it down and score with ease anyway.. At this point, the BEST possible outcome is for us to lose out, punt this season away to the Saints and let us rebuild and reload our pass rush because guess what, like it or not. Saints WILL win the NFC and not a damn thing us, or even the Rams for that matter can do about it.

quote:

We need to just hit Brees like they did Cam in 2015.

quote:

Agreed, I wasn’t even joking when I said just go for it on every 4th down when playing them. I mean could throw them off and keep them on their toes because they WILL drive it right down our throats every time Brees has the ball

quote:

Lmao 35-7 at half time. Jesus h Christ, we are going to get so embarrassed. Make the Steelers game look like it was actually close lol

quote:

If saints win it all this year, maybe Brees will ride off into the sunset

LINK /

quote:

As usual nobody on this planet can stop Brees from playing toss and catch with Michael Thomas

quote:

Jesus, I’m almost at the point of just wanting to tank and draft a legit pass rusher and just punt this season away to the Saints, they are the most unstoppable team I have seen in years and 0 chance we beat them.

quote:

Bengals will win

quote:

0 talent on this saints D. you should be ashamed if you cant move the ball on them lol

quote:

No Burfict or AJ Green for Cincy. Just more of that horseshoe up the arse of the saints, makes me sick. Need someone to step up in VB's absence to throw some cheap shots around.

quote:

Saints are secretly the most protected team in the NFL. 3 huge calls against them today were not called by the refs. Im starting to think the NFL wants Brees representing the NFC in the Superbowl.

quote:

Armstead down. Karma

quote:

compare ref treatment of cam throughout his career. saints are protected by refs because brees is their larry bird. nfl wouldn't have to issue any sort of directive to get these outcomes. all they have to do is keep hiring refs from the same pool of applicants as always and they will get the preferred result.

quote:

And now the Saints pass rush is coming alive... oh boy

quote:

The Saints have an OL injury and they can just bring the starting LT from their last Super Bowl off the bench to fill in. Damn.

quote:

This is absolutely sickening

quote:

Done with this game. This is like being forced to rewatch our Thursday night game.

quote:

I didn't necessarily expect a win on Thursday night either, but you never expect an NFL game to feel like you're watching Alabama play some D1AA team and that's what this and Thursday night felt/feels like.

quote:

lmao your team got exposed for running a fuging bounty program and you're defending it while at the same time whining about a fan pulling for injuries. that cheating scandal was in yalls super bowl season too wasn't it? damn that sucks

quote:

be consistent. no fugin saints fan gets to whine about fans hoping for injuries when your players were cheating lol

quote:

if browns let go of Greg williams, panthers should consider him, he seems to have a handle on controlling matt ryan & drew brees

quote:

his "purposefully injure the opposing team's stars" strategy worked out for the saints

The bounty-gate scandal was a bunch of BS in general but specifically when fans like the guy in the quotes above say things like “y’all were cheating (bounty-gate) in y’all Super Bowl year”— exactly what advantage did breaking that rule give the Saints and be specific? The answer is they can’t because it wasn’t Like we see we’re getting an “unfair”
advantage in the games. ie, the Saints were playing by the same rules as the other teams, no refs were involved etc. you could I guess have an ethical debate about whether it’s good for coaches to pay players to incentivize certain hits in games etc. but it wasn’t like the Saints were filming other teams practices like the patriots were where one could argue they had an unfair advantage over another team.

You know they're terrified when they're resorting to talking about conspiracies and Bounty Gate.

Get this, not only did the NFL single out the Saints for their totally true Bounty System, the NFL is now helping the Saints win the Super Bowl.
That makes perfect sense.

I'm still always cautiously optimistic when it comes to the Saints. I think it's a carry over from the paper bag days.

Plus during that time frame. The saints were somewhere in the bottom of the NFL in injuring opposing teams players. These are big, strong pro players. If they were actually trying to cause injuries, they would have.
