The Cowboys appear to be stacked at the wide receiver position. I say we offer them a second-round pick for Michael Gallup and send TQS to IR for the rest of the season and then part ways with him.

So we need WRs but we're going to send one to IR for the year who should be back in a few weeks?

We all know he’s going to get injured again. It’s enviable.

Why should we envy him?

Still doesn't solve the problem at QB. Jameis Winston isn't going to work out.

After one year with Bruce Arians, he had seen enough. Arians jettisoned Jameis from Tampa Bay. Arians has coached the likes of Peyton Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, Andrew Luck, Carson Palmer, and now Tom Brady(SB 2020). His judgement of Jameis is pretty resounding.

Yeah, we should go out and get Tyrod Taylor. Or maybe Cam Newton. How you feel about that?

It's to late for this season. Can't expect someone else to come in and learn the playbook this late, and play at a high level.

The problem is Jameis isn't consistent. Never has been. He's either on or off his game from week to week.

Like Gump said, You never know what your gonna get.

Another one of those bullshite narratives that just get repeated over and over. Brady signed with Tampa on the 2nd or 3rd day of FA; the next day Winston did one of those thank you people of TB posts.

It has already been discussed by Tampa that they would have brought Winston back had Brady not signed with them.

Good news is after this season, I feel Payton can no longer ignore WR in the draft.

Sadly it's gonna take years to reverse this

You find your long term solution at QB first, then draft that star WR. Like Cincy did Burrow then added Chase. Find your future QB then build around him.

Nah, Tre'Quan Smith is such a good blocker. The fact he's almost never on the field is irrelevant because his blocking is great. Such a great blocker. Those blocks are jarring. - Saints Talk

Next years qb class looks rough. I don’t see too many first rounders. Maybe we can strike gold in a later round if Jameis doesn’t pan out for us.
