We will take care of SF. SF will likely lose to Seattle again. I want NO part of GB on the road in the playoffs

I am calling it now SF will not win their own division. They will end up being a wild card team and Seattle will win that Division.

Hot take, but we're better suited to play in snow than GB is. Better run-blocking O-line. Better RB's who can also catch. More experienced possession receivers and TE's.

Kam would be deadly on a slick field and Taysom Hill would be an awesome weapon as well - Packers have nobody like them on their side.

been saying this for 3 weeks now, with much push back, because people are stupid...

add the fact that we play SF, so we can help ourselves out there, whereas we don't play GB, and need help from other teams with them, it makes all the sense in the world to pull for SF this week...

We match up tremendously well with GB. We match up with GB much better than we match up with SF.

I think we're better than both, but SF's backs and TE's and WR's would give us a lot more trouble than GB's offense would.

I agree with this. Either way, if we can beat SF then we control the tiebreaker on that division for seeding. I don’t see LA overtaking either of these two teams

you haven't watched much of the Packers this year, i can tell...

Aaron Jones is a very good RB, they have a deeper receiving corps than we do, and 10 degrees outside is 10 degrees... we've NEVER done well in severe cold weather...

I have watched every Packers game. Their WR's are young and talented but they aren't possession WR's that you'd want in the snow.

Kam and Murray would be better suited in the snow than Jones. Our TE's would also be superior. Taysom would be an amazing X factor.

It's all moot bc we're going to get home field anyhow.

Here's SF's 9 wins on the season and their current record

Buccaneers 3-7
Bengals 0-10 (already mathematically eliminated from playoffs)
Steelers 5-5
Browns 4-6
Rams 6-4
Redskins 1-9
Panthers 5-5
Cardinals (2x) 3-7-1

Their 1 loss was to the 8-2 Seahawks (at home)

so of SF's 9 wins...

1 vs. teams > .500 (6-4 Rams)
2 vs. teams = .500 (5-5 Panthers, 5-5 Steelers)
6 vs. teams < .500

ETA: I failed to make the point of my post

each of SF's next 3 opponents all have an 8-2 record currently (vs. GB, @ BAL, @ NO)

I am not afraid of the Packers team in the playoffs. I am afraid of the NFL propping up a historic franchise and a golden boy QB in the playoffs.

Could easily lose the next 3. However, we NEED SF to beat GB

the thing I think all Saints fans have to like is that the Saints will be coming off the "mini-bye" that is a week following a Thursday night game while SF is going to be in a tough Sunday noon game

It’s not even a hot take it’s the truth. We’re definitely the more physical team. Still don’t want to go to their house in the playoffs though.

I think SF loses to Balt & NOLA; therefore, it would make sense that we should want them to beat GB. That would give both of them 3 loses, which makes HFA a little easier to obtain.

It also should be noted that GB would have the tie breaker on us because 1 of their loses was to the Chargers, so they will have the better NFC record.
