Its not happening so let it go and I for one am glad. It just doesn't make sense to give away multiple 1st round picks plus probably multiple stud players for one player that will destroy an already bad salary cap.
Sean is going to come out and say Taysom and Winston will compete for the starting job and let the best man win.

The only reason we wouldn’t get Wilson is if the Seahawks turn down the saints blockbuster trade offer. If you have a chance to get him then you try your damn hardest.

It may not destroy the cap situation
Include both Hill and Armstead in the trade and it clears the space needed for Wilson
Extend Wilson afterwards and you could save 20 mil on the cap with the trade.

An offer won't be 3 1st & multiple "stud players". There could be an either/or deal, or a 1st and a few top players. But, to your earlier point, if the team has to let some players walk, wouldn't it make more sense to get something in return? If they have to cut any of them, it won't count towards future comp picks.
