Hooman and Kikaha would make sense, as I don't see where they fit on the roster now.

Brandon Coleman looks to be gone

Bushrod would be quite surprising, due to absence of depth on the OL.

I'm banking on a couple of the young guys to push him out. Same with hooman and pj

The only way Bushrod isn’t making this roster is if he ends up on IR

I don't think Coleman would be "surprising" though

A lot of fans want this to happen and the writing has kinda been on the wall with Meredith and Smith pickups so wouldn't call it surprising. Blocking ability may save him.

We'll keep at least 8 on the Oline, and I don't see 3 young guys all getting backup spots over Bushrod.

Even Tom was just kept on the PS last year, but they paid him vet min to stay. I think without Kelemete he has a better shot at the 53 this year though.

It'll be either Clapp or Tom for the backup C spot, but not both imo (Tom likely wins with Clapp to the PS).

So after that who are the 2 other guys who'd be on the 53 over Bushrod?

To early for me to even take a guess, but be assured, the cuts will include some talent that play someplace else this year. What a difference a few good drafts can make ??

I just don't see us cutting Hooman with lack of depth at TE. It will be interesting to see if Kikaha bounces back 2 years removed from his injury, wanting to see how he does in preseason. I can see him getting cut though unless he plays lights out. He's gonna need at least 2 sacks and 2 turnovers in preseason just to give him a shot imo. Coleman I can see being gone or somehow wind up on IR.

This is going to be the best Saints preseason of all time IMO

I will be throughly enjoying every game till we get to the PS bubble candidates

I don't see any surprise cuts.
Perhaps Hooman or Lewis are fringe surprises lol.

If Rick Leonard just flat out sucks...I can see him being cut. He was a 4th rounder. That's right on the borderline of being a lock. He would have to really suck though, b/c you usually get a pass if you're a known project taken in the 4th round.

I'd be surprised if these 8 guys didn't make it.
OC - Unger, Tom
OG - Warford, Peat, Bushrod (RT/maybe LT), Ola (LT/RT)
OT - Armstead, Ramczyk

I think we'll end up keeping 9 O-Linemen. Imo, the 9th spot will be Rick Leonard or Josh LeRibeus. Clapp & Wozniak to the PS.

Hooman plays a role in that he's a good blocking TE and can play HBack. I see both Yelder and Arnold being PS candidates unless they just light it up in games.
