Thts what happens when you refuse to extend him before this period opens. idk why its always an issue with us, just offer him the fricking deal he has earned and stop nickel and diming him. I know he isn't gonna leave but still.

Don't know who is to blame for the delays tis year, but don't act like this is all on the saints. Condon is known for having his big time FAs wait until the last day to sign. Years back when Manning got his last big contract there was a story out that Condon won't even respond to teams until it's a few days before a deadline. He believes that is the best way to get the most for his client.

without brees the saints aren't making the playoffs. With Baker i'd give them about 3 years until they make it. While the Vikings would easily be super bowl favorites

I wouldn't underestimate the Siants with Mayfield. The financial savings would allow the Saints to sign Suh/Wilkinson and Butler.
With our run heavy team we would be fine with a top 5 defense.
