Week 15 Games Remaining
-Vikings @Bears - Monday Night 7pm
-Seahawks @Rams - Tuesday Night 6pm
-Redskins @Eagles - Tuesday Night 6pm

It's looking like the 1st teams to 9 wins will make the playoffs. #'s 1-5 have already done this, & 49ers/Saints have the best odds to accomplish this task.

#1 - Packers (11-3) Division Winner - Mathematical Lock
#2 - Cowboys (10-4) Needs 1 more win to mathematically lock the division
#3 - Buccaneers (10-4) Needs 1 more win to mathematically lock the division
#4 - Cardinals (10-4) Maintains a small lead. Rams/49ers are close
-----------------------
#5 - Rams (9-4) Wild Card Probable. Already at 9 wins
#6 - 49ers (8-6) Wild Card Probable. Needs 1 more win
#7 - Saints (7-7) Wild Card Probable. Needs 2 more wins

Still in it
Redskins (6-7) Winner of Redskins/Eagles becomes favorite for possibly overtaking Saints
Vikings (6-7) Unlikely Wild Card. Difficult Schedule
Eagles (6-7) Winner of Redskins/Eagles becomes favorite for possibly overtaking Saints
Falcons (6-8) Unlikely Wild Card. Difficult Schedule

Basically out of it
Seahawks (5-8) Needs to win 4/4
Panthers (5-9) 8-9 is best possible record
Bears (4-9) Needs to win 4/4
Giants (4-10) 8-9 is best possible record

Mathmatically Elimnated
Lions (2-11-1)

As horrible as this year's been, it's mind blowing to think we were only a few plays away from being 10-4 right now. The staff has done an insanely impressive job, under the circumstances.

If Saints and Eagles both win out, who gets the last spot?

The eagles, they beat us. Which is why i disagree with the OP that we only need 2 more wins. 2 makes it dicey, 3 prob gets us in

The Eagles would. They have 4 NFC losses while we have 5...and they beat us

Eagles. Really need to root for Washington to win on Tuesday and then us winning out to have a chance. Next Monday against the Dolphins, who are also 7-7 and started 1-7, is going to be arguably the biggest game in the NFL this season from a playoff perspective.

Hate to say it but Saints control their own destiny for 7 seed. To me that would be a GREAT accomplishment given the cards we were dealt this year an SP should be considered 2nd best coach to Bill B.

It really is a good measuring stick for both teams. Dolphins are one of the hotter teams right now, but is it because they are playing well or feeding off of the teams they are supposed to beat? Win streak

Texans 3-11
Ravens 8-6
@NYJ 3-11
Carolina 5-9
NYG 4-10
NYJ 3-11

So, the only good team they beat was a banged up Baltimore team. They also had the fortune of 5 of these 6 games at home.

They also have one of the tougher schedules to end the season, so they absolutely NEED this win for any chance at the postseason:

If the Vikings get the last spot, they earned it with their schedule. The Rams could really help us out, as they play the 49ers and Vikings in their last 4 games.

But we don't. Eagles have to lose once for us to control our own destiny

Wouldnt the eagles have a tie breaker over us? We should be rooting for a Redskins win right?

That Redskins/Eagles game is HUGE for the Saints. Probably the most important non-Saints game all year so far. I'm dead serious.
