Undrafted free agent question:

You have to declare yourself eligible for the draft. There's a deadline to declare and a deadline to renege. Once you've signed an agent, there's no going back regardless of the declaration or deadlines. I believe the guys playing now fall under these rules

you mean the guys still playing now? they missed the draft but yes they can sign with any team if they want but they missed out on the big money and will just get league minimum like the other camp bodies

You might not get drafted, but I figure a couple guys from FCS make the league every year. We're looking at what, the semfinals next week; these are the 4 best teams in that division. Suppose someone shows some flashes- someone looks like an insane returner, or a raw physical specimen you'd want to see matched up against higher level competition. Are they (and the NFL teams) stuck to wait for next year, or might we see a couple guys get cherry-picked in a couple weeks?

If you can, you KNOW Payton and Loomis will at least be watching those games. Never know if someone says "hey, I wonder about that TE..." etc.
