Trey Lance a Saint?

Just saw this mock, having the Saints take Trey Lance. I like the pick, but it’s gonna have to be at 32... ??

That mock draft had 3 afc teams picking 30, 31 and 32. Loses all credibility as a sports writer when you don't even know how the draft works

If the Saints are picking a QB this draft.. The Saints are moving up to take one.. I guess they can say goodbye to next years #1 and whatever they can spare this year...

I dunno...he has Pitts @17 and D. Smith @ 26...Unless Sean loves Lance I see us looking to trade up for receiving help for either Winston or Taysom.

There is really no telling where Trey Lance will be drafted. I can honestly see him going anywhere between top 10 and 3rd round. You have TL and Fields as the unquestioned top 2 qbs. You have Trask and Mac Jones moving up the boards. Lance played at lower level of competition and teams may not want that risk in the first round at qb. I’m sure there is going to be another qb or two in first round consideration before it is done. There is always some projected first round qbs that fall

I don’t think we need to trade up for a wide receiver. A ton of good options late in the first if we go in that direction. Also Devonta will go much higher than that. Terrace Marshall, Rondale Moore, Rashad Bateman are all guys that have first round potential that aren’t even in that first round mock

Forgot about him. Highly doubt he goes before fields and Lawrence. May go in the first though. BYU didn’t play anyone all year. They beat up on bad teams. Kid has some talent though don’t get me wrong.

BYU played a lot better competition than Lance and North Dakota state played in 2019

I agree with this which is why I feel like Trey Lance can really go anywhere within the first 3 rounds. My comment in regards to Zack Wilson is that he didn’t play anyone and yet is being talked about as going above TL or Fields. I mean it is possible but I feel like it is smoke. I can maybe see him going before Fields but not TL
