Trey Flowers - should we go for him?
Posted by wazoo11 on 3/6/19 at 11:23 am32
He was a dominant force in the playoffs for the Patriots. He would be a great addition as a power rusher along side Jordan. The only problem is he's looking for a long term deal at the age of 26.

Why are we thinking about going after a D-end when we just spent 7 1st round picks on Davenport last year?

Just random posters on the internet. Nothing has been said about the Saints actively in talks with Flowers.
FWIW good teams should always be looking to add pass rushing defenders if the price is right

Interior offensive line depth
This is the one need thats going under the radar. By the end of the season you could tell we were so beat up on the offensive line. Clapp could develop into a nice backup or maybe even the heir to Unger's throne but we need to grab one or two linemen that can add some much needed depth. The idea of trading Armstead and grabbing a younger tackle in the draft is something that does interest me. Dude is elite but he is so injury prone its not even funny

We need inside d line and o line depth. Would have had interest in Malik Jackson since he was cut and doesn't count towards the comp pick formula. It's also time to see what trey Hendrickson can do as a rotational end...
