Just seeing what you guys think... A lot of mock drafts I've been seeing lately has Adams going 10th overall to Buffalo, a spot ahead of us. Do you guys think if he's there at let's says 8 or 9, do you think we possibly move up a few spots to get him?

With his new 40 time, he may be going top 3...so no trade up

Of all the players to come out of LSU in the last 10-15 years, I am the most excited about Adams. If we get to 8 or 9 and he is still available you better believe I am trading up to get him. The guy is going to be one of the best IMO.

That being said, no way in hell he makes it past the first 5 picks.

If we traded up I would rather take Solomon Thomas over Adams.

Safety is not a huge need. No to move up means get rid of multiple picks and we don't need to do that. This draft is deep at defense

Can he complement Cam Jordan on the other side of the line?

Same here--Jamal is a beast, but will go to early---he will not last past #3

exactly

we need somebody with speed on the other side that could rush the QB

is Trindon Holiday a free agent?

I've been very vocal on here in that I think adams is the best safety prospect in years, but A), he wont last that long, and B), given our glaring holes at numerous other positions, I really wouldn't even want to trade up to 8 or 9 for him.

I was mainly incensed in the other thread about Lester's claim that adam's is "basically kenny vaccaro". I hated the KV pick at the time and still do. He should have gone end of the first/early second, at best

Terrible idea. Moving up is Fool's Gold as we have proven time and again.

I think so. I saw him walking into Fred's last Friday at 1300. Day drinker I guess.
