Non QB Locks:
1. Saquan Barkley
2. Bradley Chubb
3. Roquan Smith
4. Denzel Ward
5. Vita Vea
6. Tremaine Edmunds
7. Quenton Nelson
8. Derwin James
9. Minkah Fitzpatrick
10. Mike McGlinchey

Lets mostly assume QB's get off the board before us:
11. Sam Darnold
12. Josh Rosen
13. Josh Allen
14. Baker Mayfield
15. Lamar Jackson
16. Mason Rudolph (between bills and pats picks, really like his chances of being gone)

That's leaving 10-11 (if only 5qb's) more names need to come off the board so we need a top 11 here.

Bubble Players of close locks
1. Landry
2. Davenport
3. Payne
4. Bryan
5. Kolton Miller

I think Davenport is a lock to go before 27. If he somehow falls to 27, you sprint to the podium to draft him.

mostly likely yes, but i think his talent has been a bit overrated in a weak DE class.

I'm not sure a healthy Josh Sweat isn't a better pro potential than Davenport.

McGlinchey & the last 2 QBs aren’t locks imo

Davenport seems like a lock at this point as well as Payne & Ridley

Ill bet my left nut that 6 QBs aren’t picked in the 1st rd. There has NEVER been 5 picked in the 1st much less 6.

I disagree.

kind of why i put assuming in there. I wouldn't call Lamar Jackson and Mason Rudolph as locks but i like there chances of being gone if there's an early run on qb's.

So do you want to talk locks or do you want to assume

locks for non qb's.

we going to need to have a draft board 11-12 deep. 5 qb's should be gone before us.

Payne would be my next non qb lock.

Seems like almost every reputable media member "in the know" claims McGlinchey is a top 15 lock. For the purposes of this thread it's safe to assume he'll be gone before us.

Saw a report that Sweat has a degenerative knee. Most teams think he is a 1-contract player.

All this guy does is blow up and push back the middle of the line of scrimmage, I dont think he makes it to 27 though.

Yup WRs with legit speed always go even higher than projected.

While this sounds dramatic, it is certainly not true.

In 1999, 5 QBs were selected in first round. In fact, 5 in first 12 picks.

In 1983, 6 QBs, yes 6, were taken in the first round.
