I was so disturbed how the Saints played during the first quarter that I decided I wasn't going to watch anymore (especially after last week). So, they come back and score a TD which had me hang in there a little more.
Before the half came I gave up, afterall! I went out and did yardwork only to learn the game was getting worse while I worked. This never happens to this Saints fan. Today may have been a tendsetter?
Anyone else as low on this team as me right now?

Hard to give a shite about this team when the players obviously don't

Hell, coaches either

Personally, I just watch and laugh. There's enough stress in everyday life to let football make it worse. The times of being really mad about them losing are gone. I still pull for them every week though and hope for them to improve.

That's worse than enduring a root canal

Anybody remember a game vs the Vikings in the '90s where Minn scored on every possession except the last, when they ran the clock out? I have a memory of going out to do yard work while that game was on.

Sorry if this is irrelevant

After the pats 3rd TD in the first quarter I decided to go install my new Bluetooth speaker light/exhaust fan for the guest bathroom.

First regular season game I've ever left early. After LSU's shite show last night, I just couldn't handle it anymore. Near the end of the 3rd quarter, a peace came over me, I got up and walked out. CSP and ML

Trudged through all of it but it's still hard to talk about. It's re minding me of a bad movie that makes you wonder why you are even watching. You know the lines and cliches. You have seen the same plot devices over and over. You might glance at a clock and wonder how much longer until it is over. It has been about enough reruns for me. They've changed characters and tried altering the script but the repetitious narrative has worn thin. Are the credits rolling yet?

No doubt the last 4 seasons have left me deflated. It's hard to watch other NFL games now too.

Started doing this to both LSU and Saints a few years ago. Got too emotionally invested in the game now I honestly don't give a shite. If they start shitting the bed I watch a better football game or just ignore the Saints game. I don't go to the games anymore either. They're not worth my time other than drinking a beer in front of the TV.
