Were you Saints fans before he got here? Just asking. Because no one else even sniffed doing what he did for this franchise. To see the level of disrespect for the guy is truly disgusting, and not just tonight.
He does need to hang it up because his road is at its end, I agree. But the slander I'm seeing goes way beyond that.

The Saints have 10 playoff wins in franchise history. Drew Brees is responsible for 9 of them, as well as the city's lone title in all of the Big 4 North American Sports.
Once again, he does need to hang it up, he's old and its painfully clear he's done. But show some goddamn respect for the dude that turned the Aints into the Saints. You guys are embarrassing yourselves with the Brees slander.

Other Saints QB’s have 8 wins out of 9 games as starters over the last 2 years. This team was not winning because of Drew Brees. Not despite him necessarily, but they are a very talented overall team, albeit one that chokes in the postseason. Drew brought us respectability initially, but he is no longer that same player. The Saints will be just as good, if not better, without him going forward.

He should have stuck to his guns about never kneeling during the anthem and not disrespecting his grandfather or the flag. When the mob came to tear him down he should have retired,gave the libtards the bird and walked off into the sunset with his millions and a guaranteed platinum big balls man card.
