When both of your safeties are the top two tacklers among DB's and two of the top 5 leading tacklers in the NFL your front 7 has some serious issues.

Restructure Harper if he's willing, if not then cut; Cut Vilma and Smith while thanking them for their superbowl contributions as they go out the door

Time to get rid of all these guys. I think Smith would be a solid backup at the 34 de , but not at his price. Harper cant and will not be a 3down safety. Cant cover, cant catch, cant tackle in open space. To say the int he had against Tampa was a good one is just dead wrong. He caught it but all he had to do was come up or dive and there is no question about it. What he did was bend down and wait on the football.
