I don't see how anyone could be against Mcaffrey at 32. Screen game, angle routes, etc. Offense could be 2011 dangerous.
Exactly. I much prefer give us something to work with to make our offense absolute killers again. I trust in our ability to do that a hell of a lot more than continuing to draft mediocre defensive players to close out Drew's career.

If he's there, absolutely. There will still be plenty of good CB's available at 42. There won't be an offensive difference maker like McCaffrey available.
Still, I'd be surprised if McCaffrey makes it that far.

Joe Mixon possibly?

First round talent that'll likely drop quite a bit.

Barnett or Thomas at 11
White or McCaffery at 32
However, Loomis will do something stupid by trading both picks to move up 3-4 spots and we will draft a bust.

Payton has this itch, but value wise you go for the defensive player at 32 still and the scatback/TE in the 2nd.
You want the 5th year option that's cheap for a defensive player over a rb/TE any day of the week.

#11- Thomas/Barnett/Foster
#32- Howard/Reddick/White
In round two you target BPA depending on your first round, guys like Engram, McMillan, Watt
I believe we will trade one of our 3rds back to the Pats for Malcolm Butler so I don't think corner is as pressing as many others believe. I think OLB, DE, Safety, and OL will consume the first two days of the draft unless Payton takes an elite TE that is too good to pass up.

I posted yesterday that White at 32 was part of their reason for this trade!!
This board will be fired up if that happens!!

I'm cool with drafting another RB, but I wouldn't draft one at 32 or 42 unless they could play a Sproles type role and really do work running routes. I think we could get Mixon in the 3rd. Dalvin Cook could drop to 42, but I know he has some drop issues and I'm not sure how often he ran anything besides simple screens.

I agree. I'd like McCaffrey but I think Engram or Howard would help a lot more

Especially since our offense has had some really good stretches using a lot of 2/3 TE sets.

McCaffrey fits the CSP profile

We can wait and get Leggett with one of our 3rd rounders.

If we can sign Claiborne or trade for Butler I could see us doing CM at 32.
But until that happens I hope it's first 4 picks all defense

At 11: Thomas/Barnett/Charlton
At 32: T White or best CB available

I think the consensus is
#11 best "EDGE"
#32 best corner
I don't see a realistic scenario where this doesn't happen unless they fall in love with a LB for the late first. For them not to get the edge at 11 I don't even know.
ETA: I'm all for Thomas/Barnett/Charlton at DE and White/Jackson at CB
