Thoughts from inside the Superdome yesterday

To make a long story short, we ended up buying tickets 45 minutes before game time yesterday. We checked saturday night and they were $900 for four people, right before gametime they dropped to just over $400 total. My girlfriends family was in town and they have never been to a game, so we decided what the hell, even if it wasn't the full superdome experience.
It was weird as hell at first. Very eerie not having 75,000 of your best friends with you.
Of course, on cue, before the national anthem, there was a SAY HER NAME protest video. Very bad way to get you excited for a football game.
The mask Nazis were all over the place. I took of my mask to drink a beer and kept it off for the habitual sips, but some guy ran me down and said the mask could only be off in the act of drinking. Don't get that if we're already socially distanced enough.
It was odd but cool hearing everything coming from the field. I heard a panthers defensemen yell "what the frick man" at our ole pal Eli Apple when Harris scored right at the end of half.
Honestly the no lines for entry, beer, and the pisser were great, but I wouldn't trade that in exchange for a packed dome.
The loudest 3,000 person who dat chant broke out after we iced the game. That was great as well.
After the game, I saw Teddy running off the field. It was so quiet, I yelled "we still love you Teddy" And he pointed and yelled thank you at me running off the field. That was awesome.
Overall, it was a fun but weird afternoon. I don't know if we will purchase tickets again for this season unless they end up dirt cheap, but it definitely was an experience I'll remember for a while.

the long story short was how we bought the tickets. I could of described the whole night and morning that led to us buying tickets if you wanted me to

Cool story thanks. My cousin was at the game too and took some pictures from outside that looked like still shots from that Will SMith movie I AM LEGEND.

It was weird man, especially coming in and leaving. Champions square a ghost town, no partying outside before and after

It sucked. Bottom-line. I will not see the dome again until life is back to normal.

Was very weird. At some points you could hear a single fan yell something from across the dome. Was cool hearing players on the field yell out assignments and stuff. But I agree very weird experience.

High prices, mask police and SJW protest videos...sounds like a dystopian nightmare.

Latoya is looking for any reason she can to shut down fans in the dome, so the saints and the superdome are being hardcore about making sure all rules are followed so people can continue to come.
The NFL is watching all broadcasts and issuing fines to teams if they see fans in the stands not wearing masks or following rules.
They're just trying to make sure the doors can stay open. It sucks, but it is what it is.

Partly why i hate going to games, LINES. wouldn't have mind that from time to time.
The whole social distance mask thing at games doesn't make sense, your sitting down and away from others.
Cases are still going up and half the country's wearing a mask. IDK

Not in Louisiana... cases are falling and/or flat (3800 cases a day in July to under 500 a day now). Daily deaths are way down (from 65 a day in April to 34 a day in August to 12 a day right now) and the death curve is falling and/or flat
