This may have been discussed. But the kickoff pass was hilarious

Clearly tommy lee lewis fooled nobody. I thought this was hilarious. Glad the saints are in a spot where I can laugh at such a failure of a play.

Yeah that was a train wreck

Besides like 1 guy, I thought everyone fell for it.

It was just a crappy throw.
Should of had Snead throw it

I don’t hate it. It was worth a shot

For a second I forgot that it was LSU who didn't have a ST coach.

Thrown at the 4, caught at the 6. Forward lateral.
So not exactly the way to execute this trick play.

Ugh why did you link that play? Now I'm sad.

On Monday night football Eagles vs Saints the Eagles hide a player in the endzone during a kickoff. Almost worked.

Yep it was called back but the design was the same and to me it looked like they practiced it quite a bit more. Our attempt was sad.

Yeah, it pretty much went over like a fart in church...

You can't have the guy you always use as your returner be the one trying to hide. Of course the defense is going to notice that. I realize they did it that way because Ginn, as opposed to Lewis, has the arm to make that cross-field throw, but there is just no way you're going to hide Lewis from the kick coverage team.

If he could have made the first guy miss and gotten outside there was a lot of running room

Tommy was so camouflaged. I’m sure no one saw him laying down in the end zone. He really sold it.

This is the way to execute this trick play and of course, against the Saints hah
Of course, it would be against the saints.

Extra unexpected TV timeout ruined the element of surprise. Players were pointing at him on the ground.
Should have called an audible to get out of the play.

I like to see the change up occasionally

I am not a fan of trick plays with your back so close to the opponents end zone. Way to risky. Especially with our issues with fielding kicks.

I liked the try in that situation
